January 18

Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. ..Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.
Read Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, NLT

A job search can really make you feel alone.  Everybody goes off to work or school or some routine leaving you all alone.  But you are really never alone—for God never leaves you. Beyond that,  He sends people to be there for you.  Look for the ones He wants you to connect with.  They will be committed to helping you succeed and will help you when you fall.  This person will “keep you warm”, alive, connected to others and moving forward.  Avoid critical people who just tell you that you ought to be doing more or that you’re going about things all wrong. What you hear from God’s support givers will always line up with the Word and character of God. They will stand in the gap praying and fighting the fight of faith with you. Look for people like this to join forces with and, when someone else is in this boat, be the one God sends.

• I am never alone.  God has arranged divine connections for me.
• I am fitly joined to the body of Christ and under His headship.
• I am committed to helping others succeed.
